Structural Health Monitoring

Structural Health Monitoring, or SHM, is a category of sensing technology that monitors loading history and fatigue damage in aircraft, vessels, structures and machinery. SHM devices can record, process and assess accumulated sensor data for a variety of mechanical and environmental factors affecting structural health. These devices can operate standalone or as part of an integrated sensor network with cloud data processing.

IPR designs, manufactures and sells a complete line of SHM devices under the brand “IPR Sensing”.
